Frances H. Rose was appointed in 1999 by Governor Knowles. She is vice president for administration for the Anchorage investment firm, 91直播Permanent Capital Management Company. Regent Rose earned her Master's degree in Adult Education from the University of 91直播Anchorage and served as the director of the Adult Basic Education program at Anchorage Community College for 11 years. A former Juneau resident, she has worked a s a special assistant for the state departments of commerce and administration. Regent Rose has served on the Juneau Chamber of Commerce, the State Advisory Council for Vocational and Career Education, the 91直播Tourism Marketing Council, and the Anchorage Manpower Council.
