Registration open for 2026 IGNITE Workshop

Registration is now open for the 2026 IGNITE Workshop — Individual Growth and New Ideas Through EPSCoR/INBRE — taking place Jan. 7, 2026, at the BP Energy Center in Anchorage.
The one-day professional development event brings together faculty, staff and students from across the University of 91Ö±²¥system to explore new ideas, strengthen research collaboration and enhance career development.
This year’s IGNITE features:

Keynotes and sessions on the federal funding landscape, mentoring, and effective feedback

Three participation tracks for faculty and researchers, staff, and graduate and undergraduate students

Special talks by Jessica Ross, assistant professor of human services and 91Ö±²¥Native studies, on Indigenizing Research, and Kenrick Mock, dean of the College of Engineering and professor of computer science, on Artificial Intelligence
Limited travel support is available. Those seeking travel funding must register by Nov. 19, 2025, to be considered.
The IGNITE Workshop is sponsored by EPSCoR and INBRE. Participation is free and open to all University of 91Ö±²¥faculty, staff and students on a first-come, first-served basis.
